Obtain a firearms license.

To complete your online application you will need:

A MyServiceNSW Account linked to the NSW Police Force
Firearms Safety Training Certificate
Supporting documents for your Genuine Reason and Special Need
A credit card for payment of the license fee (if applicable)

Firearms identification

All stolen firearms must be reported to your local police station or firearms registry. The South Australia Police website includes a section where you can search for a firearm by its serial number.
